Beth, John & Ann,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your family during this difficult time. During my university days with John I have very fond memories of my time at the farm, in the Sherman household and taking ribbing from Earl about our whereabouts. Diana and I always felt so welcome in your home when we visited with Beth and Earl. You have so many wonderful memories of your time together and your family, may they comfort you in the days and weeks to come.

Beth.....
Joyce & I offer our condolences to you and your family.
While I did not see a lot of Earl over these past years, I have fond memories of him from my OPP days. Earl was a pleasant and supportive influence to young officers who attended North Bay detachment. His love of farming and nature was certainly evident when I transferred up in 1974. He had a great sense of humour. My first police related trip with him, was the day he instructed me to get in a cruiser with him. Being relatively new to the job I was anxious for any police experience and advice. To my delight, the trip entailed a trip to the farm to see his new bull! Great guy who will be missed.
All our best

Lori and I would like to offer our deepest condolences to Aunt Beth, Ann, John and families. I have great childhood memories of the Sherman's from North Bay attending the Aurora Horseshow and gathering with the rest of the family at Aunt May's backyard pool parties. The one constant at those family gatherings was the big warm smile that uncle Earl always wore and the time he always took to speak with me about what was happening in my young life. A life well lived, we will miss him.

Beth, John, Ann and families, I am so sorry to hear of Earl's passing. Although I have not seen Earl in some time, I do remember him fondly. It was always a pleasure accompanying Earl and John when we traveled to Sturgeon Falls to take in all the activities at "The Sale". I still recall the times when Earl would chauffeur John and I to school in one of the OPP cruisers, it was always a fight to see who got the front seat! On behalf of Veronica and myself, please accept our condolences at this difficult time.

My dad and I are very sorry to have lost such a true gentleman...We spoke of him last night at coffee. My dad said he had known Earl for 40+ years and that he was a great friend. He will miss him dearly. I have gotten to know earl through dad and your family and I had a kind spirit and I loved his humour on the cows and horses...Our thoughts and prayers are with you Beth and your family at this time of loss.
Take care and if you need anything don't hesitate to call dad or I.
