To the Family of dear Mary; I wish to extend my sincere sympathy to Mary's family. I taught with her at Centennial in 1968-69 and recall many wonderful days with her. She was such a great teacher and I always enjoyed teaching music to her class - they were so attentive and willing to participate in the music program. Frances I remember you from Centennial. May she rest in peace.

So sorry to read about Mary's passing. Our deepest and sincere condolences to George and the Chandler families. I have fond childhood memories of the fun cottage days on Premier Road, of Mary as my teacher at Centennial, as well now residing in the former Perry/Chandler/Payne home. We will really miss Mary! When our family lived in Timmins, we always looked forward to dropping in on Mary and George on our trips south. We would arrive exhausted at the house on Premier road and Mary would greet us with a big smile and glass of wine. It was such a relief to have a safe place to get off the road and visit with people we loved. George would put "Rion King" on the TV for TJ and she would watch it while we chatted about what was new in everyone's lives. Laughing at the wild and crazy things there were going on. It was such a treat to have these lovely visits with Mary and George and we missed them terribly when we moved south. Our hearts go out to the entire Chandler-Payne family at Mary's passing.
