Peacefully passed away at Waters Edge Care Community on Sunday, June 5, 2016. Eli, beloved husband of the late Annette (nee Ransom), in his 85th year. Loved father of the late Albert Rasmussen (1998). He will be sadly missed by close friend Lise Sager, in-laws, extended family and many friends. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. There will be a Legion service held in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Redeemer Lutheran Church on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke foundation or the North Bay General Hospital Renal Unit would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
