SPENCER, Danny Leslie, born January 6, 1948: On December 22, 2016 Danny left us to join his parents Harry and Mary Spencer in the afterlife. He leaves behind his beloved wife and life partner Gillian, his children, Tamara, Mark and Tiffany, his six cherished grandchildren, his sister Deborah Attwells, (Michael), as well as very close friends, all of whom he loved dearly. Dan was the founder and retired partner of SSA Adjusters Limited, head office in North Bay, Ontario. Danny believed in service and took pride in being named a Life Member of the Kinsmen Club of North Bay. Projects in which he participated include chairing the CKSO Telethon and gift delivery for a number of years, raising funds used in the building of the North Bay Regional Health Centre. He was a board member for various organizations including The Haileybury Golf Club, the Classic Theatre, Cobalt, and The Kinsmen Club of North Bay where he presided as president for six years. Arrangements are being made for a memorial service at the Haileybury Golf Club to be held May 27, 2017.
