April 22, 1948 - December 14, 2016
Died peacefully at the age of 68 years at North Bay Regional Health Centre. Predeceased by her husband William Edward "Bill" Pitt and parents Carl and Florence Baldwin. Survived by her children Sarah and Jonathan (Nicole), and her brothers Chris (Laurie), Robert (Ev), sister Gail (Mike). She was a loving Nana to Jocelyn, Jacob, Harlow, and Dre. Carol Ann was a distinguished schoolteacher in North Bay and at Phelps Central Public School in Redbridge for 47 years. She was a long-time community volunteer, notably with the Phelps District Women's Institute, Phelps Community Library and St. Brice's Anglican Church. Carol Ann was an alumna of Laurentian University and North Bay Teachers' College. Friends may call at Martyn Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon and evening, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9pm. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00am, Monday December 19th, 2016, in St. Brice's Anglican Church, 1225 Cassells St. If desired donations in her name to Phelps District Women's Institute will be gratefully acknowledged.
