Obituary of Eva May Leslie

Leslie, Eva May Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Cassellholme on Monday, April 4, 2016, she was in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late John "Jack" Leslie. Cherished mother of David Leslie (Helen), Gordon Leslie (Linda) and Jack Leslie (Sue). Proud grandmother of Tamara Hamilton (Steve), Lori Auger (Paul), Christine Giesbrecht (Karl), Angie Luczak, Martina Vollman and great-grandmother of Lauryn, Liam, Ashlyn, Amberly, Brooklyn, Julia, Alexia and Jacklyn. Eva is predeceased by her silbings Walter Stevens (Grace), Margaret Johnson (Bruce), Iris Brush-Tabler (Elmer & Fritz), Dave Stevens (Lynn) and sister in law Peggy Avery (Edger) and brother in law Tom Leslie (Thelma). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Eva was a life time Legion Member of Branch #559, a former winner of Pete Handley Sports Award, the mother of the North Bay Centennials, an active member of the Cabooster Club, she loved her sports golfing, bowling, darts and also loved her family dinners. The family would like to send a special thank you to Marg Park, the Brookes Street North Bay Neighbours and the angels on Apple Street at Cassellholme. Family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Calvin Presbyterian Church on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at a later date.
