Rose was a loving grandmother to Lauren, Martin, and Keith; a guiding influence to Mary and her brothers, and a true example of a life well lived. I loved to hear her laugh, to kid her about her methods of consoling children ("Maybe a candy will help"), her removal of hot items from the oven bare handed, and her ability to touch up wall paint with different colours. She didn't have a mean-spirited bone in her body and certainly was a great example to all who knew her well.
