We were so saddened to learn of Ron's passing. We didn't see him often but always enjoyed the time we spent with him and the family. He was a kind and caring man and will most certainly be missed by all who knew and loved him. You will be in our thoughts in the days to come.

Please accept my sincerest condolences to the family. I was in Dr. Weeks's summer courses for Primary and Junior Science, parts 1 and 2 in Sudbury for which he had arranged for us to work in and have free access to Science North. For my Science Specialist he invited me to critique part of his new text book as a home study course. I was honoured to do so. I also provided a few photographs which are included in the text. I was so anxious to receive the book, that I didn't wait for him to sign it, which I have always regretted. I still have the book and treasure it! He was a wonderful instructor and I enjoyed working with him immensely. I wish also that I had communicated with him, that due to his influence and the great course materials that I garnered from his classes, I took on the task of teaching Science Methodologies at Lake State University, Michigan after my retirement from teaching elementary students--a quantum leap, he would have said! Or maybe even "a discrepant event"--jokes only his students could identify with. I am saddened to hear of his passing and wish the family to know of his far-reaching influence. A wonderfully warm human being! Rest in Peace Ron Weeks.

Barb and family: We were so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. After years of not being in touch we enjoyed our contact, down here when you were at Anna Maria Island, and at the Scotts' 50th. I had written in my calendar that you were to be on AMI this month. I have many happy memories of working with Ron in our executive roles in OSSTF District 4. He was an extremely energetic man, always smiling, and with a "Let's get it done" attitude. How motivating that was! We also remember happily being guests in your home in Lambeth. We wish we had been able to see you down here and hope to in future. However, for the present, our sympathy and best wishes go out to you and yours. Sincerely, Bob, and Carole, too. (from Florida)
