My deepest condolences for your loss. Murray was a good man, and always a pleasure to speak with. I enjoyed many of his stories as an officer. His passing was untimely, but at least he wasn't in distress.

We had just met Murray in the parking lot at church (he was already retired). It took him no time at all to introduce himself to us and we were very pleased to make his aquaintance. As we chatted away we soon came to know how proud he was of his wife Sandra and his family! Not long after a four wheeler came up our driveway (we live 40 Km from North Bay) and it was Murray! He came in and had a coffee with us and it was great! We only saw Murray perhaps a dozen times after that but it was always a postitive and friendly encounter! We found Murray to be a very real person he loved to laugh and make us laugh! We were happy to meet Murray and subsequently Sandra and we really valued his friendly nature toward us!

It was with great sadness that I recently learned of Uncle Murrays’ passing. We extend to you and your family our very sincere condolences. Although I did not have the privilege of seeing Uncle Murray much over the past few years, I will remember him fondly. I will miss his smile and gruff voice. (smiling now as I think of his face) He touched my life, for that I am extremely grateful. I know that words mean so little at times such as these, but I do wish you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad and difficult time.

Sorry to hear of Murrays passing. I grew up next door to Murray in West Guilford, and our friendship continued on in to high school. I have many fond memories of fishing, hunting and Saturday nights at the "Golden Slipper" on Kashagawigamog with Murray, Earle,Blaine, and Ray. My condolences to all Murray's family.
