Baldwin: Florence Ellen nee Bainbridge
(July 3, 1919 - July 14, 2014)
Died peacefully, at 95 years, in her own home. Predeceased by her husband Carl Reginald Baldwin, parents Clint and Mida Bainbridge, and sister Berna Nicol. Survived by her brother, Bob Bainbridge and her children, Carol Ann Pitt (late Bill), Gail Vartija (Mike), Chris (Laurie), and Robert (Ev). She will be missed by her grandchildren, Dane (Kendra), Jonathan (Nicole), Mitch (Katie), Lindsey (Louis), Tyler (Jen), Carrie (Douglas), Sarah and Jessie. She was a Great-nanny to Cole, Jocelyn, Benjamin, Jacob, Emma, Aleks, Isabel, Josef, and Stella. Florence was a teacher for 43 years in Redbridge, ON. She was a member of the Golden Age Clubs in North Bay and Redbridge. Florence was an alumna of the University of Western, London, Ont.. She was a member of St. Brice's Anglican Church. Friends may call at Martyn Funeral Home today, Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9pm, then again on Thursday July17 from 12:00 noon until 1:30pm. Funeral services to celebrate her life will follow at 2:00pm in St. Brice’s Anglican Church, 1225 Cassells St. If desired donations in her name to St. Brice's Church will be gratefully acknowledged.
