Growing up in the west end just blocks away from the Alger home and Noreen being my best friend at King George school, I was a frequent vistor. I remember Wynne for being a specatular cook. I would try and get myself invited when roast beef and yorkshire pudding was on the menu. I can still see the yorkshire pudding magically rising in the oven to a crispy light golden brown covering the whole pan. Yum!!!!Sitting down to dinner with the whole Alger crew was not just dinner it was an event! She was a great lady and will be missed.
