A quietly graceful & truly amazing woman that showed us all the meaning of unconditional love. She opened her home and her heart to many and gave us all memories to cherish for longer than a lifetime.
She was strong of spirit and rarely did she complain of anything, choosing instead to be thankful for what she had and the family and friends she could share with. She taught us appreciation.
She taught us to trust in one another; to be honest and to not be afraid to ask for help; the importance of family and standing together. She taught us perseverance.
She had a tiny voice but when she spoke we all listened. She was a fantastic teacher, showing us how to make turkey and hamburger soup, how to make a fire in the wood stove and keep it going and even how to set a mouse trap. She showed a young Cleo how to pick and get rid of potato bugs and provided mason jars for the simple fun of watching Joe and Joselle catch fire flies. She taught us practicality and she taught us to find joy in the smallest of things.
These are only a few things that come to mind in memory of the beautiful soul that we are saying good bye to today, however there are no words to accurately describe our sadness at her passing. We know she will be watching over us from above and can only hope that our memories and the stories we tell will help us through this difficult time. We love you and will miss you very much Memere. You will never be forgotten.
Dawn, Joselle, Joe and Cleo

Today I will dearly miss a most beautiful great grandma in my life. Yet so far away, she always had a special place in our hearts. Because no matter what, family is family, and even though we didnt see or hear from eachother often, I will always cherish the moments we spent when we
visited. Ill always remember her homemade turkey
soup and the story of a snake in her boot. The old dial wheel telephone and listening to her conversations in french and always wishing I could understand every word. I can even hear her laugh if I were to tell her that I have chickens now! Our last little visit was like she had never changed since the last time. A small, hardy little woman with such a gentle soul. Altho I wasnt there to see her go I know she'll live on in the old maple leaf trees. There is a special place in the sky for her and our family has many great memories of the times we spent together. R.I.P. Memere. Always remembered.

Claire Julien

She was the oldest daughter, a wife for nearly 55 years, a mother for almost 70 years and a Grandmother for 47 years. She was a good friend and neighbor, had a charitable heart and a gentle nature. She had a chuckle of a laugh and a wonderful smile. Her hands were rarely idle and you never went hungry in her home. She was many things to many people, but to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that loved her she was always Memeré and home. You're frame was tiny, but the imprint you left behind is large and you will be greatly missed. Love you and miss you already.

Memeré I loved spending time with you. You're home was my home, where I always got the crust end of a loaf and there was soup on the stove. You are going to be missed. Love Angie, Ian, and Girls
