Obituary of Margaret Agatha Whalen

WHALEN: Mitzi Passed away at the Mattawa Hospital, on Thursday, February 14, 2013. Margaret Agatha “Mitzi” (nee Jocko), was the beloved wife of Jack Whalen, she was 70 years old. Loving mother of Kriston Purdy (Allison), John Purdy (Adrianna), Peter Purdy (Natalie) and Patsy Ely. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Anne (Miguel), Jacinthe, Amanda, Liam, Maggie, Sam, Alexandra, James, Alisha, Twyla, Shaolin, Laniya, Roger, Bret, Hannah, Zachary, Caitlin, Caitlin, Jack and great grandchildren Malacai and Yuna. Dearly loved daughter of Annie Jocko (Jean Roch Lambert), sister of Tony Jocko (Karen) and aunt to Vince, Derek, Jennifer and Jem. Mitzi was predeceased by her father Kenneth Jocko, brother Bruce 'Nuffy' Jocko, her sister-in-law Sharon and nephew Aaron Jocko. A Memorial Service honouring Mitzi’s life will be held at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, February 23rd, at 11:00 am.
