To Jane and family, Was very sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Sweig. I have very fond memories of Mr. Sweig from the family ski trips (Matthew, Larry, my dad, my brother). One of the last times I spoke to Mr. Sweig was when my dad was very ill. Mr. Sweig called my dad's place while I was there and we spoke about my dad's condition. Larry was genuinely concerned. We spoke about what we knew about the disease and research about it. He told me that I was doing a very good job as my dad's POA-Health. These words of encouragement couldn't have come at a better time. These words, coming from Mr. Sweig, meant a lot to me. My thoughts and heart goes out to all of you, especially in the coming week/months. Any time some of those not so nice memories arise, I have always found it helpful to replace that memory immediately with a good memory - maybe one from many years past!

Dear Jane and family, I was very saddened when I heard that Larry had passed on. I remember Larry as a very kind, generous and loyal friend. I remember the get together's at the Sweig's home and Jane, you were a great hostess. Even though years have passed so quickly, the memories are still there. Take Care Jane! Love Valorie. Where ever Larry is now, hopefully he will meet up his old friend Ron.

Dear Jane and family, although we only met Larry a few years ago when you moved to Melissa Cr. we became much more than just neighbours. Larry always had time for our children. Carter was delighted that Larry had asked him to look after clearing the snow from your driveway and took care that it was done the way Larry would have wanted it. Words cannot express the profound sense of loss and sorrow over the departure of my grandpa. You were the compass and scale that I used to pursue to my dreams and aspirations. You are part of my earliest and most cherished memories, you were responsible for shaping me more than I had ever said, and I deeply respected you more than anyone else.
