Obituary of David Clifton Lowther

David’s journey in this life has ended and he has moved on to his new adventure. He died peacefully at his home with his wife, Sue and his sister Pam by his side. David’s vibrant personality and ever present humour will be forever missed by his loving and proud family. Dear husband of Susan (nee Gleeson). Loving father of Jill Lowther, Jennifer Devolin (Blair), Jessica Barnes (Birch) and David Jr. Forever treasured by his grandchildren Aiden and Alexander Devolin and Hunter and Ryland Barnes. Survived by his father Frederick Clifton Lowther and his sisters Pamela Stirton (Bill) and Candace Riexinger (Kim). Predeceased by his mother Beverley. David’s family wishes to acknowledge the CCAC for all their support, and give special thanks to Dr. T. Rotondo for his care and compassion. Also, thank you to our wonderful VON nurse, Deb Hatt, for her extraordinary care for Dave and our family during this difficult time. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11 am. Cremation will follow at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. If desired donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation or the War Amps would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy (cheques only please).
