Obituary of Glenn Allan Brown

BROWN: Glenn Allan Passed away peacefully at his home in North Bay on Saturday, June 30th, 2012. Glenn was the beloved husband of Marguerite (nee Lochrie), he was 79 years old. Loving father of Dan Brown and his wife Ann of Barrie, and he was predeceased by his daughter Glenda Gervais. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Terry, Greg and Jillian. Dearly loved brother of Sylvia, Ann and Roy. He was also predeceased by his parents Wlifred and Anne Brown and by his siblings Gerald, Ivy and Robert. Glenn worked for INCO as a Power Engineer for many years, retiring in 1987. He and Marguerite moved to Restoule the same year. He was very active volunteer in Restoule, serving on many Boards, and was a member of the Lions Club. They moved to North Bay in 2007. Respecting Glenn’s wishes there will be no visitation or service, and cremation has taken place. Glenn’s ashes will be interred in the family Plot at the Restoule Cedar Grove Cemetery on Friday, July 6th at 2:00 PM. Followed by a time for fellowship and refreshment at the Restoule Community Center. If desired, donations to the Restoule Cedar Grove Cemetery will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the Martyn Funeral Home.
