I first met Glenn when he and Marg moved to Marina Point. Glenn was committed to ensuring that the voices of the folks living at Marina Point were heard and heeded. He had a remarkable way of listening to people and sorting out the "real" issues from the need for people to just have someone grumble to. Nothing ever seemed to get Glenn down. His remarkable sense of humour and insight to personalities served him well. I felt our relationship evolved to become a friendship that I valued and I had the deepest respect for him. When Glenn was diagnosed, he approached this challenge the same way I saw him approach everything else - with conviction, a positive attitude, determination and courage. Marg, you were such a wonderful support and source of strength for Glenn. The depth of your love and support of each other was evident to all - a relationship that many of us wish to have with our own partners. Glenn always spoke with such pride of Dan and Ann and of his grandchildren. It was obvious how much he loved you all and what joy you gave him. I will never forget Glenn and am ever thankful of the opportunity to share a small piece of his life.

Marg & family - I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I have a lot of very fond memories of Glenn - working with him with the Cemetery books & projects, being with you both on your party boat, going to all the very numerous Lions functions, dances, curling, boccie ball, etc..., always a great friend and a great man.
