She was last in my thoughts when I went to bed on Wednesday night. I send my condolences to the entire family from the Van Rassel family. Isabelle was one of the participants in a yoga class that I had the privilege of teaching at ANH years ago. That smile!!!!! She will be missed.

Isabelle was the grandmother everyone wished they had. She made it her business to know what you were about and was not afraid to speak her mind. Whenever I would go and visit my dad at the nursing home and she happened to pass by, she'd come in the room and talk to my father and I. She would always have a little anecdote to share with us. She was the Ambassador of the Algonquin Nursing Home, greeting everyone she met. She was a staunch Liberal supporter and every Liberal candidate would come to Isabelle's room first to get her take on things. She would go around with the candidate and introduce him/her to all the residents requesting their vote on election day. She was a Lady in the true sense of the word and I'm sure she will be as busy in the afterlife as she was here. We love you Isabelle and will truly miss you.
