There are many family get togethers that we all shared in our younger years at Manley & Brenda's lake home and so many stories to tell but the best that I will remember the rest of my life is when Manley came to visit me in August, 2007 along with other family members to celebrate my 60th birthday in Durango, Colorado. Wow!! What a fun time!! Manley was so relaxed because he had recently retired, until we took him and the gang river rafting down the Animas River. It had recently rained and the river was particularly high, rushing with rapids, and Manley was paddling the front when approaching a huge rapid. Manley let out a scream of fright that turned into a laughter of all laughs after crashing thru the rapids (see attached photos).
Also, you'll see some photos of Manley during our horse back riding trip in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, as well as photos of a special stage coach ride in Mancos, Colorado. Those days in colorado with Manley and the gang were the most enjoyable and most memorable days ever.

Hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your family & friends for strength. "When you lose someone it can be hard to take the pain that you feel when your heart has to break, the memories you keep are all in your mind as you search your soul for more to find, the way their skin felt, the smell of their hair, as you keep thinking over and shedding a tear the years may pass, memories fade to grey, but you're getting no younger you'll see them someday. Unconditional love is never forgotten, look deep in your heart it is there at the bottom alone in the dark sometimes in fear, voices from loved ones you're hoping to hear, more years pass, they soon fly by but you're always looked upon from those in the sky surrounded by clouds and pure white doves, they listen and watch sending you love. Just remember one thing as you sit and you pray, they will be there to greet you, you will see them someday. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Donald Montreal,Quebec
