Obituary of Emelda Margaret Rimes

Rimes, Emelda (nee Therrien) Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa, she was in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Albert Rimes. Cherished mother of Vickie Bertrand (Marcel) of Windsor, Claire Cameron (Bert) of Mattawa, Theresa Murray (Ghislain) of Mattawa, Robert Rimes (Katherine Bangs) of Morinville, Alberta, Art Rimes (Celine Gravelle) of Garson and Ernie Rimes (Annabelle Cote) of Mattawa. Proud grandmother of Kim, Kris, Shelley, Cindy, Sherry, Corey, Matt, Angie, Kevin, Stacey, Scott, Tracy and great-grandmother of Beth, Skyla, Ty, Hailie, Kyle, Cory, William, Braxton, Dustin, Sydney and Dylan. Predeceased by her granddaughter Tammy Perreault (nee Murray), infant grandson Curt Bertrand, her parents and all of her siblings. Friends may call at the MARTYN & SLOAN CHAPEL in Mattawa on Monday, October 17, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Anne’s Church on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Followed by the burial at St. Anne’s Cemetery in the family plot.
