In much the same way that she tended her garden with patience, pride and love, Mémère nurtured all of us, and made sure that our roots were planted deep and strong so that we can carry on her traditions with our little sprouts.
So thank you Mémère for the memories, laughter and love. We'll miss you, but we're happy that you're at peace now, and reunited with Pépère and our beloved Tammy who left us far too soon. We'll love and remember all of you always.

Shelley and I will never forget the time Mémère slid home on a flying saucer. She had come over for supper and it started to freeze rain. By the time Mémère was ready to head home, the laneway was icy and she'd left her pail of sand at her house. So she sent us to the basement to get one of our slides. She got on the flying saucer, casserole dish in hand, and told us to give her a push. All we could hear was the casserole dish rattling and Mémère yelling, "whoa, whoa" as she slid right past the basement door and into the snowbank.

Mémère was an amazing woman, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. We were blessed to be part of her life and we'll all cherish our memories of her and the beautiful person she was.
