With great sorrow the family announces the sudden passing of Christine Madeline Batise on Wednesday October 12, 2011, at the age of 45 years. Loving partner of Jeff Oliver, and mother of Jordan. The beloved daughter of Arnold and Bernice Purdon, she was the cherished sister of David Blais (Donna), Terry Blais, Charlene Blais, Danny Blais (Patricia), Bernadette Beddie (Brian Magnan), Mary Rochefort (Jean-Pierre Raymond), Laurie Compton (Rob), Linda Bishop (Richard), & Tammy Draper (Chris). Christine will also be sadly missed by Debbie Shoults (William) & Laurie Delpino (Julius) and be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and her special friends at Gateway Housing Co-op. Many thanks to Pat for all her help and support. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon and evening from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. Funeral services will be held in the Martyn Chapel on Monday October 17th at 11:00am. Internment to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Powassan.
