Dear Jeff and family, I am beyond sad to have learned of Christine's passing. What can I say about Christine other than she was not just a neighbour she was a friend. My dogs "Molly & Maggie" loved Chris always trying to beat each other to get their lovin' from Chris first everytime they saw her & Jeff outside. The summer of 2010 Christine spent everyday that summer looking after my new pup "Max" who turned out to be quite a handful. There is no one I would have trusted to look after and basically raise him while I was away at work other than Chris. Animals meant everything to her. We shared a special bond in our love for them. She was just a wonderful human being in so many other ways. She was always there to lend a helping hand. She bought flowers and took some from her own garden aswell and planted them in front of my unit when she knew I had no time to plant a garden. She would rake and cut my lawn, shovel my walkway in winter before I would get home just because she cared. She would always listen out and look after my unit when I was away on vacation. I just cannot imagine life for me at the co-op without her being there. Most of all I will miss her smiling face greeting me when I got home from work. She would be sitting in her green chair and would look up from the book she was reading ( more recently her e-reader) and ask me how my day was. I will miss her terribly .I will be forever blessed for having had the honour and priviledge of knowing her. Rest in peace Christine. You will always have a piece of my heart! Love and Prayers Always Kim, Dan & Cassidy xo

Dear Jeff, Jordan and Christine's Family. I just want to say that Christine will always be thought of for her kindness to family, friends and even strangers. Christine was a giver and not a taker. She loved to help in anyway she could. I remember she couldn't make it to a few events I had put on but she donated lots of decorations and even came in and decorated the hall for my daughters baby shower. The children in the Co-op just loved Christine. They knew if they found an injured animal or rodent they could take it to her and she would do her best to nurse it back to health and at times even paid for vet bills of stray animals that were injured. I so remember how much she loved her Dalmation Keesha... Keesha had failing health from a young age and Christine spent many nights awake making sure that Keesha got her medication and was ok. It broke her heart when she finally had to get Keesha put to sleep, she cared for her for 11 yrs.Jeff is indeed Christine's soulmate, they loved each other so much. My heart is hurting so bad for Jeff,Jordan, her mom, dad, sisters, brothers and all other family members. She is now resting in the arms of Jesus and free of pain. I will never ever forget you Christine. Sleep well my friend till we meet again someday. Just know that I will not be able to attend her service but I will be thinking of you all. I know that Heaven will look so beautiful with all of Christine's talent in decorating and gardening. Those two things were her passion and pass time in life. Love always and forever, Robert and Paulette Norman.

Having married into the family, I have known Christine for the better part of the last 6 years.Upon first meeting her, her deep love for her family,Jeff,Jordan and friends was evident. Always the first to lend a hand well before being called upon, she was easily admired. At the ready with her stockpile of decorations, she decorated family get togethers, birthdays and weddings. She along with Jeff became our wedding decorators, photographers and leaning posts. The memories we were left with were amazing. A lover of animals, she eagerly cared for our puppies when we were away. She especially fell for our chocolate lab Hershey, who especially fell for her after being so spoiled. Such a big big heart. If ever we have a daughter, I hope she shares that same big heart. Christine, you will be missed by those who knew and loved you. We will keep your memory close and love you always. Rest Easy. Much love to Jeff, you will always be family and a brother.

I knew Christine many years ago. I spent nights on her couch, played with the dogs, went to Widdifield with her when she returned to school and studied with her many nights. Sadly we fell away from each other and never reconnected. I have thought of her often. I am saddened to hear of her passing. I spent many nights crying on her shoulder and remember her love, kindness and support most of all. I was shocked to see this on the nugget website and regret even more so now not taking the time to visit, reconnect and talk. Jeff I remember your care and compassion for Christine and Jordan, my thoughts and prayers are with all of the family at this time and especially with Jordan. May God watch over you all and know that she is with you still in everything she touched and every memory you shared. God Bless
