John was a true friend. He always made me feel at home when ever I travelled to North Bay and Montreal. His sense of humor was wonderful. He made my job easier. I will never forget the "Trailer"! Thanks to John for all the fun I had there. Michelle and family, I am so sorry for the lose of a such a wonderful person. I wish you all the best in the future.

I remember John from many years ago at Goodlife. Even though I was much younger than him and some of the other guys he trained with from the ONR he always made me feel like I was one of the guys. He really did have a great sense of humour and lots of laughs where had during our workouts. I will always remember John with his long hair walking around the gym making the guys laugh. I remember him telling me at the time about this line he would use on his young son. He would say "want a piece of gum? Chew my rubber bum". Years later I would use that on my own kids, when I did I would think of John. Sorry to hear of his passing and thoughts and prayers to his family.
