Obituary of Muriel Virginia Armstrong

ARMSTRONG (nee Chester): Muriel Virginia Passed away peacefully at Casselholme, on Tuesday, March 6th, 2018. Muriel was the wife of the late Harold Armstrong, she was 92 years old. Loving mother of Jeffrey and his wife Debby, Nancy and her husband John & Robert and his wife Karen. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren David (Colleen), Kent (Samantha), Lianne (Randy), Lee (Peter), Philip (Joani), Lindsay (Jeff), Marci (Pat), Rory and by her great grandchildren Logan, Cole, Willow, Danika, Sofia and Henley. Muriel was predeceased by her parents Edward & Madge Chester and by her siblings Peggy Cameron (Ian) and Ted Chester (Vivian – Living). She enjoyed golfing, skiing, gardening and cooking for others. Muriel was the “Belle of the Ball” spending many great evenings and celebrations with family and friends. Time spent at the Lake was an important part of the Armstrong families’ life, she will be missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at the North Bay Golf and Country Club on Saturday, March 17th from 1:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. If desired donations to North Bay Regional Health Center or Cassellholme will be gratefully acknowledged as expresses of sympathy. Muriel’s family would like to thank the staff at the North Bay Regional Health Centre and on Apple Street at Cassellholme for the care and compassions they showed her. She will be remembered for her “Zest of Life”.
