Don,
We were so sad to hear about Terry. We have enjoyed your company the last few years in Panama. We will miss you both so much. Terry was a rare gem that always made us feel so welcomed and we always looked forward to spending time with her. There are no words to describe what a treasure she was to us. Please keep in touch and we hope to see you in Panama again. With our deepest sympathy. Al & Jo Anne

Dearest Terry,
Just as in my middle name, Teres, I am following in your footsteps for teaching. You were such an inspiration for my future and I always enjoyed talking about literature and my art accomplishments with you. I will always remember your smile and laughter.
Love,
Ava Teres Fahlgren

Auntie Terry, I will always cherish the time we had together. From our nature walks to taking in the beautiful views of the sunset off Callender Bay in your backyard; these memories will live in my heart forever. You had so many accomplishments that will continue to inspire me each and every day.

Here is Terry with me at my family's cottage on Lake Nipissing in the late 1960s. Sleepovers were frequent and so was relaxing on the lake on Sundays when we had a day off from the North Bay Summer Skating School. Terrific memories on and off-ice. Miss you!

Oh so many years ago we were close! I have carried you with me through the years remembering my coaching you on your Gold Figures. Watched you with friend BJ and your Mother always a strength to support you on to the Love you had for skating!
You accomplished so much in your short time on this earth! I feel sorry to have let the years go by and not have had our paths meet!
You are so loved by so many. You will be missed terribly. Oh to be able to go back and enjoy our laughs and loves of being on the ice!
Fairwell Dear Terri! You gave so much to the people in your life. Your Mom and Dad have open arms for you now to be with them again! Heart felt condolences to your Family you leave behind! I will carry our many memories from days past with me always! ❤️

Figure skating was the strong ribbon that tied our friendship for well over a decade in the 1960s. What idyllic years we spent growing up together! After which, life took us in opposite directions for over 50 years until a new ribbon called cancer, brought us so much closer.
During the last 18 months I was blessed to be one of Terry's cheerleaders through treatment, and healing, and yet more treatment, and joy, and heart-break.
Rest easy, Warrior Queen! You have honoured your Viking ancestors with your fierce courage and unwavering tenacity. I am left with such admiration and love of your intellect, classy elegance, kindness, and, so grateful that we were close friends, twice in our lifetimes.

Dear Don and all my Ontario cousins.
Good memories of sharing time with Terry when Don and her came to Winnipeg and when we were in North Bay. Was always eager to hear her bubbly stories with my parents (Mary Lou and Ervin Miller). Time passes way to quick but the memories will never vanish.
Blessings for a wonderful gathering as we are not able to participate.

Dear Don and family
I am saddened to know that I will not be blessed to see Terry's beautiful face again walking though the doors at the office. Her beauty was obvious on the outside and she was just as beautiful on the inside. So kind and always appreciative of the littlest of things. She will be missed!!!
Thinking of you all!!!!
Kelly

Terry was my teacher in my teenage years.I was not an easy student for a teacher and I'm sure she was warned trouble was coming to her class.
Terry treated me respectfully and kindly and when i didn't show up to school she came to my home to check on me.
Thankyou for caring Terry.Thankyou for being the teacher so many of us needed.Thankyou for not judging and trying so hard to understand us. Thankyou for making school tolerable.
You are a teacher and human that made a difference and for those of us that had you as a teacher you will always be remembered as a kind caring support.
I'm sorry for your family's loss.Im glad to have known this beautiful soul.
