It is with great sorrow and sadness that I have learned today that my good old friend Henry has passed away on October 27th. Henry and I were teen-age buddies in Malta, and we followed each other everywhere and always bar none. He even came to Canada in September 1966, after I having emigrated to Canada in April of the same year. We attended the same St. Albert College in Valletta, Malta for our schooling, and afterwards wee went to the Marsa Vocational school, from were we made our preparations to emigrate to Canada. Sadly we lost contact over the years but he remained my sincere and faithful friend just the same. I am truly sorry for his loss, but just the same I thank the Lord that he is ridden of the suffering of his illness. May he rest in peace and the Lord grant him eternal joy in heaven. On behalf of Nipissing University Athletics and the Laker family i would like to express our deepest condolences to the Bonello family on the loss of Henry. On a personal note i got to know Henry over the years with my involvement in Lakers soccer-he was player orientated and wanted to see players not only succeed on the pitch but in the classroom as well. Thank you for sharing him with us-we are all better people for knowing Henry..........I will miss our conversations and my friend.
