MYRA TROUNSELL – NOVEMBER 5, 1927 – JULY 25, 2021

Passed away peacefully on July 25, 2021 at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice in North Bay.

Myra is predeceased by her husband, Frank Trounsell (2007), her sister Rena Pakkala and brothers Marshall and Bob Edwards.

Myra is survived by her daughter Susan (Sandra), grandchildren Casey Neil (Kimberley), Brandy Neil (Jason), great grandchildren Joanna, Joshua, Myra-Sadie and Murphy and her great great grandchild Kayden.

Myra was a well known business woman in North Bay, she was a hairdresser, an owner of Grove Cottages and Sam’s Smoke Shop. She was also a long time member of the Four Seasons Curling Club and North Bay Granite Club.

A Memorial Visitation will be held for Myra on Friday July 30, 2021, from 10:00am – 12:00pm in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel (464 Wyld St. North Bay) A Memorial service will follow in the chapel at 12:00pm followed by an interment at Union Cemetery.

Please know that the Martyn Funeral Home chapel has a limit of 50 attendees at one time and Myra’s Memorial Service will be on a first come first serve basis other than her immediate family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Bay Humane Society or Diabetes Canada
