FacebookTwitterreddit TROUNSELL, Myra Ann November 5, 1927 - July 25, 2021 Passed away peacefully on July 25, 2021 at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice in North Bay. Myra was predeceased by her husband, Frank Trounsell (2007), her sister Rena Pakkala and brothers Marshall and Bob Edwards. Myra is survived by her daughter Susan (Sandra), grandchildren Casey Neil (Kimberley), Brandy Neil (Jason), great-grandchildren Joanna, Joshua, Myra-Sadie and Murphy and her great-great-grandchild Kayden. Myra was a well known business woman in North Bay, she was a hairdresser, an owner of Grove Cottages and Sam's Smoke Shop. She was also a long-time member of the Four Seasons Curling Club and North Bay Granite Club. A Memorial Visitation will be held for Myra on Friday July 30, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel (464 Wyld St. North Bay). A Memorial service will follow in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. followed by an interment at Union Cemetery. Please know that the Martyn Funeral Home chapel has a limit of 50 attendees at one time and Myra's Memorial Service will be on a first come first serve basis other than her immediate family. Dear Susan and family Our deepest sympathy at this sad time. Your mom Myra and I are first cousins…..our mothers Cora & Vera Downey were sisters. I have very fond memories of Myra through my life.She was such a beautiful,sweet ,gentle person. When I was very young my mom would take me to your house on Brennan st to get her hair done . Through the years I would see Myra while shopping and we always had a nice long chat. Susan I have posted a couple of pictures of your beautiful mom that I have in family albums. I knew Myra and Frank through work in the Kennedy building and she was a beautiful woman. I also had the pleasure of seeing her for years in the dental office. She was NEVER without a smile or a kind word. She will be missed.
