Obituary of Donald Wellington Green

GREEN: Donald Wellington

Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Friday June 1st, 2018. Don, was the beloved husband of the late Nola Ann (nee Chadbourn), he was 86 years old. Don will be forever remembered by his sons Andy, Jeff (Cecile), Terry (Louise) & Tim (Helga). Lovingly remembered by his dear grand-daughters, Melissa (Kyle Aubut) & Kristina (Pat Lavigne) and his precious great grandchildren Jackson, Julia, Lydia and William. Dear brother of John (Jocelyn) and Barbara Flood (Mike). Predeceased by his parents Thomas & Laura Green and by his brothers Tommy & Douglas. Don was a Member of the  Canadian Army Reserves. He was a retired Conductor, working for many years with the Canadian Pacific Railway.  He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #445 Callander, holding many positions including President of the Branch. Visitation for Don will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Thursday from 7-9:00 P.M. A Royal Canadian Legion Memorial Service will be held Thursday evening at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Friday June 8^th at 11:00 am. Interment to follow the Service. If desired, donations to Alzheimer Society of Canada would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
