Obituary of Dora Irene Gayle Hamelin

Gayle Hamelin of Calvin Township passed away at the Mattawa Hospital on Thursday May 17, 2018, one week after her 81^st birthday. Beloved wife of Remi. Dearest mom of Cathay (Mike) Moreau of Elmvale, Darcy (Aggie) Duquette of Barrie, Kerry Duquette of Utopia and Jamie (Shelly) Duquette of Orono. Proud grandma of Chad (Candice) Moreau, Chris (Nikki) Moreau, Todd (Candy) Moreau, Brett (Amanda) Moreau, Jennifer (Jon) Steininger, Frances Duquette, Amber Duquette and Scott Duquette.  Special great grandma of Ethan, Colton, Mason, Lincoln, Tristan, Rhys, Mya, Ava and Hailey.  Beloved sister of Fay (Bill) Sterne of Courtenay, B.C. and Wayne (Ella) Cameron of Mattawa.  Gayle will be missed by her fur baby Abbey.  Friends may call at the Martyn & Sloan ‘Mattawa Chapel’ on Tuesday May 22^nd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1 pm.
