Obituary of John David Garry Hughes

After a lengthy illness, it is with sadness we announce the passing of Garry at the North Bay regional health Centre. Predeceased by his parents Len and Roselle Hughes, his brothers Don, Pete and Roger, his sisters Elinor Christo, Nadine Champlin and Shirley Johnston. Survived by his sister Sue Nicholson, his sister-in-law Floris (Don) and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his nieces Nancy and Melanie for their caring and compassion as well as the nurses on D3. Garry will be missed at the Cahill Hunt Club by his extended family of friends and their children who joined him in his lifelong love of fishing, hunting and all outdoor adventures. No visitation or service. Cremation has taken place, graveside service for family and friends will take place at the Hughes family plot at Terrace Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Martyn Funeral Home. In his memory donations to Ducks Unlimited or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
