Survived by his loving wife Jean (nee Lyons) of 61 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving children Elaine (Ken) of Guelph, Walter (Sue) of Windsor, Timothy of Trenton and Brian (Claire) of Corbeil, and grandsons Ian (Cindy) of Bagotville, Stephen (Andrea), Andrew (Susan) both of Guelph, Liam and Owen both of Corbeil and great grandson Lachlan and Amelie of Bagotville and Paxton & Tate of Guelph. Dearly loved brother of Mary Abraham of Haileybury, Ted Joiner (Louise) of Victoria and by his many nieces and nephews. Harry was predeceased by his parents Harry & Ethel Joiner and by his brothers Jim & Norman.
Harry worked for Ontario Hydro, building Hydro stations in many parts of Ontario. He retired in 1987 as a Construction Supervisor, with 38 years of service. After retirement Harry & Jean spent many pleasant days on Lake Nipissing in their boat fishing. They also did a lot of travelling in retirement. Harry was a long time member of St. Brice's Anglican Church. Past Master of the North Bay Masonic Lodge #617 A.F. & A.M., Past Master T.P.G.M. North Bay Lodge of Perfection, Past M.W.S. North Bay Chapter Rose Croix, Member of Hamilton Consistory, Honorary Member of Supreme Council and Past W.P. of O.E.S.#99. Visitation will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 30th from 2-4 and 7-9:00 P.M., with a Masonic Service being held Wednesday evening at 7:00 P.M and an Eastern Star Service following at 7:30 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 1st, at 10 am. Interment to follow at the St. John's Anglican Cemetery.
