There are many people that knew and loved you. And I am sure that a lot of stories will be told about all you have accomplished in your life. You have left a legacy of grandchildren whom you loved and adored. But I remember you growing up with immigrant parents. You were the one that had to look after me when our parents were working. In the days when "latch" key kids were unheard of, when all other parents were home and we were the only ones on the street that came home to an empty house. A great athlete at school, captain of the football team - with proud parents who went to watch every home game. Although there were times I didn't want you to "boss" me around and make sure my chores were done - you were the best big brother in the world and always looked out for me. You were older than I and therefore expected to be responsible for our well being when our parents were working. Our father died too young and you were too young you take on that responsibility to look after our mother and myself and yet you did (although those letters from Europe to behave became a little tedious). I will miss you with all my heart and someday we will be together again. Love you always, Chris

Thank you for all the little things. You may have thought they went unnoticed but they were NOT and will always be remembered. Thank you for always helping me bait my hook when I was afraid of the worms and crayfish at the cottage, I even caught some bass with those lines. Thank you for having the patience when I could not find the last puzzle piece and you knew exactly where it was. Thank you for rescuing me from the ice when I fell in when you warned me not to go near it. Thank you for teaching me how to hold on to the waterski rope and cheering when I could do one ski. Thank you for taking care of those leaches that were on my leg and I did not know how to get them off ( you did...yuck), thank you for not telling my Mom that I jumped the face to get into the fair ( guess she knows now)thank you for all the encouragement when I was growing up and the visits when you were near by . Thank you for the wonderful dinners and honest chats when you visited Toronto but most of all THANK YOU for being the BEST UNCLE!! I will miss you so much but know you will never leave my memories or my heart . Love you
