Obituary of Alice Veronica Maxwell

At the Mattawa Hospital on Thursday September 25, 2014 in her 76th year. Predeceased by her infant daughter Cindy and by her husband William. Loving mother of Debra Lavigne (Claude) of Eau Claire, James (Carole) of Eau Claire, Patricia Maxwell (Clarence) of Calgary, Diane Johnston (Brian) of Sudbury, Daniel (Jodi) of Eau Claire, Gayle Davies (Bryant) of Calgary, Tracy (Lana) of Eau Claire and Kelly Maxwell (Fred) of North Bay. Sadly missed by numerous grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Stella Peplinski of North Bay, Dorothy Belanger of Ottawa and Lucille Hand of Milton and brothers Andrew, Samuel and Nelson all of North Bay. Predeceased by her brother Daniel. Friends may call at the Martyn & Sloan `Mattawa Chapel` on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Anne`s Church and is tentatively set for Tuesday at 11 am. Interment to follow at the Calvin Cemetery. Alice`s family would like to extend many thanks to Dr. Redhead and all the excellent staff at the Mattawa Hospital for their wonderful care. Also thanks to the staff at the Nephrology Clinic, North Bay Regional Health Centre. If desired donations to St. Anne`s Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
