Ida Yackobeck (nee Slater) passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on October 15, 2013.
Ida was the beloved wife of the late Charles "Charlie" Yackobeck. She was the loving mother of Fred of Corbeil, Beverly O'Connor (David) of Renfrew, Don (Velma) of Callander, Ken (Diane) of North Bay and Judy Harwood (Dennis) also of Callander. She will be sadly missed by her 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ila Hermer, Royce Slater, Keith Slater, and Ilena Ellenberger. Predeceased by her sister Lola McShane.
Visitation will be held at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Sunday, October 20th from 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held from the St. Andrew's United Church on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 11am. Interment to follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. www.martynfh.com.
