KATHLEEN MAY WILLIAMS (NEE SMITH)
PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY AT THE EXTENDICARE YORK IN SUDBURY ON SUNDAY NOV 24TH 2013. SHE WAS IN HER 94TH YEAR. KATHLEEN WAS THE BELOVED WIFE OF THE LATE WILLIAM EDWARD WILLIAMS AND CHERISHED MOTHER OF GARETH WILLIAMS (EMMA) SUDBURY AND TERRENCE WILLIAMS OF EDMONTON. PROUD GRANDMOTHER OF ABIGAIL, KATIE AND T.J. WILLIAMS
SADLY MISSED BY HER SIBLINGS LOIS SCHMIDT AND MABEL MITCHELL . KATHLEEN IS PREDECEASED BY HER SIBLINGS HAROLD, CHESTER , DONALD , KEITH, GRACE STEED, CHARLES AND PHILLIP. KATHLEEN WAS A TEACHER IN THE COMMERICAL DEPARTMENT OF CHIPPEWA SECONDARY SCHOOL IN NORTH BAY FOR 30 YEARS AND SERVED TIME IN THE NAVY. KATHLEEN WAS PASSIONATE ABOUT OIL PAINTING AND SINGING IN THE CHOIR AND WAS AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE FIRST BABTIST CHURCH IN NORTH BAY. KATHLEEN WAS THE KINDEST PERSON IN THE WORLD AND NEVER COMPLAINED. ALWAYS SAYING "EVERYTHING IS FINE DEAR". KATHLEEN AND FAMILY WOULD LIKE TO GIVE A SPECIAL HEARTFELT THANKS TO THE NURSES AND STAFF ON THE THIRD FLOOR EXTENDICARE YORK WHO ALL TOOK SUCH GREAT CARE OF HER.
FAMILY WILL RECIEVE FRIENDS AT MARTYN FUNERAL HOME ON THURSDAY NOVEMBER 28, 2013 AT 1200PM UNTIL THE TIME OF THE FUNERAL SERVICE AT 1 PM. BURIAL WILL TAKE PLACE AT NORTH BAY UNION CEMETERY IN THE SPRING 2014.
