Obituary of Eileen Zelene Anthony

Anthony - Eileen “A Gracious Heart” After 84 years of a well-lived life the matriarch of three generations of our family passed away on March 16, 2016. She took the hand of God and peacefully moved on to her eternal life to join her beloved husband Desmond. Dedicated mother to Dwight Sr [Susan], Desmond Jr [Gale], Durward [Helga), Doyle Sr [Noella], Delbert, Desta, and Denton [Tahnee). Selfless and loving Grammi to 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Cherished by sisters, brother, extended family and countless friends. Many thanks to Dr. Trenker and the surgical staff and nurses of North Bay Regional Health Centre. She always put others ahead of herself and was always there to listen or lend a helping hand. Friends may call at Martyn Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon and evening from 2- 4 & 7 – 9pm. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held in Trinity United Church on Monday March 21 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please take the time to do something special for someone you love or someone who needs a helping hand, like our mother did throughout her life.
