Here are some photos that include Ralph.
The 1984 CFB North Bay Challengers softball team went to the Canadian Forces Regional Softball tourney at CFB Petawawa with Ralph as our coach. We had a great time and put in a good show.
The 1956 image shows a much younger Ralph upper right with some of his buddies at RCAF Station Foymount. Also in the photo seated at right is Phil Briand who Ralph served with again at different times.

We were shocked and saddened to arrive home early this morning from vacation only to find out that Uncle Ralph had passed away. Uncle Ralph was always a gracious host to us every time we visited Northbay. He would always go that extra mile to make our stay comfortable be it at the house or their camp. Uncle Ralph was always such a happy and warm person. Uncle Ralph, you will be so missed by all of us. Our condolences go out to all of the family in Northbay. Love always Terry, Debbie, Mike, Matthew, Lindsey and Cameron.

All I can say is that the world lost a great one. My memories of the entire family flood back from vacations in Clarkson, to visiting Holberg to seeing Ralph in North Bay. Uncle Ralph and little Uncle Ralph were my role models and my examples to follow. I will miss his smile, gentle humor 9like calling me a pongo) and his generosity. You will be sadly missed but your memory will live on. Mom, Aunt Cora, Uncle Denton and Aunt Lorice are waiting for you and you guys will have a great time reminiscing. All my love to the Hunt family and my sincerest condolences. Doug K

I was so fortunate to have Ralph Hunt for wise counsel as my senior weapons technician while serving as a flight commander in the underground complex at North Bay from 1983-85. Larger than life, and with a heart to match, he was a man of convictions, yet loyal and supportive at every turn. I'm sure words are not enough to soothe the ache in all of us who knew him. But we will try. Fly high old friend. Len Campaigne, Abu Dhabi UAE

To the Hunt Family, My deepest sympathies on the loss of your Dad. Having known Ralph since I was a teenager, I always enjoyed the many laughs we shared whether I was on the ice officiating or just hanging around West Ferris Arena or the Gardens. Ralph always was a great individual willing to help out when needed and always there for support as a fan. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this trying time. God Bless!

On behalf of the Duval family I would like to express my deepest condolences to Paki and family on your dads passing .I was shocked and my heart sank when i heard that Ralph had left us to be with your mom.He was a great guy -he was a person who made you feel important just by being around him-he was always asking how your family was and was deeply concerned if things were not quite right. The most I will miss about my friend Ralph will be his quirky smile ,he was always waiting to see how you would react and you were always left wondering what is he thinking? We are all better people for knowing him and I hope words of comfort will help you over the next few days, weeks and months ahead. You Hunt children had great role models and for that we say thank you.

Ralph was a very major part of our Trainers for the Tim Horton 33's, Fraser Tavern, and North Bay Trapper's Major Midgets. Always made sure the boys were well looked after, and he was great to be around with and enjoyed a great time. One weak link was pressure in a tight and important game chances you would find him packing and unpacking the trainers bag in our dressing room. Ralph you will be greatly missed and at this time I offer my condolence to your family and rest in peace you member of the old Art's War Wagon Buddies.
