Obituary of Dorothy Eleanor Woodhouse

Woodhouse - Dorothy Eleanor Peacefully at Easthome, Powassan on Tuesday September 4, 2012, while in her 84th year. Dorothy Eleanor Woodhouse , nee Hoult, was the proud and loving mother of Barbara Smith of Huntsville, Darla Esch (Robert) & Diane McMillan (Chris) both of North Bay, Stephen Woodhouse (Pat) of Collingwood and Nancy Hisgen also of North Bay. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Stephanie, Meghan, Kelsey & Taylor Smith, Christine (Ryan) Laframboise, Jennifer Rothwell, Ryan (Kindra) McMillan, Lindsay McMillan, Jamie Buechler, Graham & Emma Woodhouse, Kadie-Rose & Brandon Hisgen, and her four great grandchildren. She is also survived by her two brothers and one sister. As well as being a dedicated and loving mother Dorothy will be remembered by many as an active bridge player, golfer and curler. At her request cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon from 1:00pm until time for a memorial service to celebrate her life to be held in the chapel at 3:00pm. If desired donations to the Big Sisters of North Bay will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
