Obituary of William Edward Towers

TOWERS: William Edward “Bill” Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Center, on Monday, December 30th, 2013. Bill was the beloved husband of Cecile Patricia (nee Buckner), he was 80 years old. Loving father of Lois Towers, Elizabeth Towers both of North Bay, Ellen Towers (Perry) and Cheryl Towers both of Winnipeg. He will be sadly missed by his 2 step-daughters and 4 step-sons. He will be lovingly remembered by his several grandchildren. Dear brother of Judy Beaver and Mary Ronasco. He was predeceased by his parents George and Lyla Towers and by his brother Bob. Bill worked as a Fire Fighter for the City of North Bay for over 35 years, retiring in 1988. He will be remembered by all for his great sense of humour, his passion for desserts, but also his talent on the piano. Respecting Bill’s wishes a Private Family Service was held at the Martyn Funeral Home on Thursday, January 2nd. Cremation with interment of ashes at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
