What sad news it was to hear that your dear husband was no longer with us. Terry was a survivor. Despite his tragic accident years ago he still had a passion for living his life. When Terry arrived at an event the whole place lit up with his energy. Seeing him move from being a student at Canadore till he was flying high was impressive. He was an inspiration to many people. If you thought you couldn't ski - he convinced you that you could. Seeing him swoop down the hills made you want to do the same. He will be missed, but never forgotten. Blessings to you Marilyn and your family from Lois Carey

Upon arriving at the Hollinger Park, during the T.h.& V.S. re-union, I heard my name called out, it was Terry, all smiles with his hand out. We talked for a long time and made many connections. Terry was the glue that kept many people in the circles. Bright, friendly, caring, thoughtful, loving, accepting, inclusive, a great writer, photographer, and communicater, who kept us all informed. I will miss his E-mails that brought back so many fond memories of my teen years in Timmins . I will sing now, the closing theme song used by Bing Crosby, " Thanks for the Memories" Terry.

Our hearts go out to Marilyn, Deidre and family. Terry was such a positive, enjoyable friend, who continued to share all the wonderful memories from his days at Canadore through retirement. His knowledge and career was amazing, as was his determination to continue a normal life after the accident. His smile and laughter will live with us forever.

Marilynn, Deidre and family, I send my sincere condolences to you all for this tremendous loss. I met Terry in 1988 as a colleague, who became a dear and trusted friend both at work and outside. A distinguished gentleman with an infectious and sincere laugh whether listening to stories or sharing his amazing stories. He truly listened, heard and remembered every detail you shared with him, even things you may have forgotten you shared. I always enjoyed Terry's writings, which were filled with intellect, detail, and an elegance that could only be composed by him. His wit, charm and humour hidden in each paragraph. I will cherish all of the stories, the writings and the pictures we have shared over the years, and I am grateful for his genuine friendship.
