Karen and Family, so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Your Mom was my second Mom and taught me many things, which I have put to good use and she always gave great advice. A very kind, sweet lady, I can assure you I will never forget her. I remember your parents taking me to Nova Scotia one summer and all the little road trips for cheesecake! She is in God's hands and lovingly will be with your Dad again. My prayers are with you all.

To Marguerite's Family: I got to meet Marguerite during the short time that my Mom (Verdella Murphy) was on the 3rd floor at Casselholme. I recall Marguerite telling me about being the only girl growing up in a family of all boys. She made sure to tell me, raising her two hands as though ready to box that she didn't ever "take any guff!" I'll bet she didn't. Marguerite and I had a pact with each other that whenever we would meet we would try to lift each other's spirits. Your Mom always kept up her end of the bargain. A day or so before my Mom died on Christmas morning, I stopped by Marguerite's room and stood by her bedside. I asked her if I could whistle the song: Sweet By and By. As I whistled the tune I could see her lips forming the words. The chorus says: "In the sweet by and by, We shall meet on that beautiful shore." I do believe I will meet Marguerite Kelley again on that far shore. Please accept our sincere condolences on your loss.
