Blampied, Mavis Helen (nee Anderson)
Passed away in France on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, she was in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Royston Blampied. Loving mother of Ruth (Jean) Fortin of France and predeceased by her son William (Teresa) Blampied of Brockenhurst, England. Sadly missed by grandchildren Rosie, Lucy, Jake, David (Darlene), Elizabeth and great grandson Davis Fortin. Predeceased by her siblings Earl, Lloyd, Marjorie and William. Mavis will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A Legion service will be held at 1:30 p.m. followed immediately by the funeral service in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. Burial will take place at Terrace Lawn Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Bethel Gospel Chapel Building Project would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
