Obituary of Ruth Lilian Bolan

Bolan, Ruth Lilian (nee Snelling) It is with great sadness that the Bolan family announces the sudden passing of Ruth Lilian Bolan on Saturday, September 10, 2016 in her home, she was in her 87th year. Loving mother of Sharon and her husband Bernie Moseley-Williams of North Bay. Predeceased by her daughter Lynn Wilson. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Adam Wilson, Kate, Erin and John Moseley-Williams and great-granddaughter Abby Wilson. Dear loved sister of George Snelling of Hamilton. Also predeceased by her brother Jack and sister in law to Lily Snelling. Dearly remembered by her nieces and nephews Stephen, Lorna & Kevin Snelling and Donald Nichol. Anyone who knows Ruth knows she loved to garden, she was a team lead for the Heritage Gardener's for many years, and hosted several garden tours in her home garden. Family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service at Emmanuel United Church on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to be held at the Glendale Cemetery (Albion Road and Highway 27) Toronto. If desired, donations to Charity of Choice will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
