Obituary of Phyllis Eleanor Rowe

ROWE - Phyllis Eleanor Peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Center, on Sunday October 30, 2011 two days past her 85th birthday. Phyllis Eleanor Brown was the dearly beloved wife of the late Robert John Rowe. Born in North Bay on October 28, 1926 Phyllis was the daughter of the late Edward Stanley Brown and his wife the former Eleanor Daly. For 35 years Phyllis was employed as a clerk in the Land Registry office at North Bay. She and Bob were married in St. John’s Anglican Church on September 7, 1953 and had been active members of the congregation ever since. Phyllis was predeceased by her brother Charles Brown and his wife Merril and she will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Wednesday afternoon and evening from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday November 3rd at 1:30pm. Interment to follow in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery.
