Obituary of Winnifred Marguerite Gardner

Gardner - Winnifred Marguerite Peacefully at Cassellholme, on Saturday, June 27th, 2015 while in her 100th year. Winnifred Marguerite Coleman, was the devoted and beloved wife of the late Kenneth Edgar Gardner. The proud and loving mother of Joan Mathieu and her husband Clayton of North Bay and Grant Gardner and his wife Beverley of St. John's Nfld. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Peter Mathieu (Shelly), Shelli Hefkey, Patti Serson (Kelly) and Andrea Gardner, her six great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Predeceased by all of her siblings Phyllis Arcieri (late Archie), Etta Mountford (late Gerry), Kathleen Riness and brothers Art and Wendall. Winnifred and her husband Ken were married in St. Brice's Anglican Church in August of 1938. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Friday from 2- 4 & 7- 9 p.m. Memorial services will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Saturday, July 4th, at 1:00pm. Cremation has taken place with interment to follow in the family plot Terrace Lawn Cemetery. If desired, donations to St. Brice’s Anglican Church would be appreciated by her family.
