I grew up just a house away from Doris when they lived on Queen Street. I only found out about her passing when I was looking for a current address to send our card this year for Christmas. You are sadly missed by both Germaine and I, and I think she should know that we still regularily make her Brown Sugar Cookies that she always had on hand for the kids on the street to this day. You are missed dearly.

My Condolences to the family. Doris I knew so much about you but had only met you a handful of times as a kid/teen. I remember Dean telling me one time that you had said to him: "I like that girl." :) I knew you were one tough cookie & obviously a kind compassionate lady, so that was an honour to hear from you! May you rest in Peace Doris.
