Obituary of Lillian Lydia Fairgrieve

Fairgrieve, Lillian Lydia Peacefully passed away at Lady Isabelle Nursing Home on Thursday, January 23, 2014, she was in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Fairgrieve who passed away in 1976 and Harold Haley who passed away in 1962. Cherished mother of David Haley (Noreen) of Ottawa and predeceased by her daughter Lois Burke (nee Haley) in 1976. Proud grandmother of Ann-Marie Butt (nee Haley), Mary-Beth Haley, Debbie Tate (nee Burke) and Stephen Burke. Great-grandmother of Olivia and Owen Butt, Amanda Tate, Ryan and James Dane, Kelsa, Dominic, Christopher and Nicholas Burke. Great-great-grandmother of Brianna and Isabella Tate. Lillian is survived by her siblings Merrill Currie and Jean Hasselfeldt and predeceased by Donald, Lewis, Robert, William, Viola, Pansy, Marguerite, Myrtle, Alice, and Marion. Family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., there will be an Eastern Star service at 7:00 p.m. followed by a Rebekah service at 7:15 p.m. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at St. John's Cemetery in the spring of 2014.
