Obituary of Lois Marie Stewart

STEWART, LOIS MARIE Passed away peacefully at Nipissing Manor on Wednesday November 14, 2012 at the age of 88 years. Close companion of Richard Hagen who was the source of much joy and laughter in her later years. Predeceased in 1991 by her husband Russell Stewart. Loving and proud mother of Esther Flear (husband Neil) of Shelburne, Louise Orlow (husband Ken) of North Bay, Russell Stewart (wife Pam) of Rosemont, Edna Stewart (husband Larry Desloges) of Delta, Ontario, Dianne Beauchamp (husband Rodger) of North Bay, Debbie Ludlow (husband Pat) of Everett, Ontario and Gwen Lockett (husband Carl) of North Bay. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Bradley, Brian, Barry, Leslie, David, Brandon, Christopher, Sara, Curtis and Crystal and many great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Herbert, Kenneth, Frank, Clarence and Charles Stanyer and by her sisters Mabel Ness, Iris Waugh, Peggy Harkies and Mildred Kerr. Mom was a very generous and compassionate person who took great pleasure in helping others. Lois’s family wish to thank Dr. Brian Shaw and the wonderful staff at Nipissing Manor for all their care and kindness. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Friday from 7-9 pm. The interment will take place at Union Cemetery at a later date. If desired donations to Nipissing Manor would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
